About Chef Spoons

Each Chef Spoon is a handcrafted, one-of-a-kind work of art. Slight variations in size, color, and/or other aesthetic properties are to be expected.

Chef Spoons are stainless steel cooking, plating, tasting, and serving spoons featuring original artwork. A master culinary and service utensil, the Chef Spoon performs exceptionally well in the professional environment. A unique dining accessory, the Chef Spoon is also an asset to any home kitchen.

“I created Chef Spoons because I wanted a way to say, ‘This spoon is mine. Get your hands off my spoon,’” Chef Adam Aschner, Creator of Chef Spoons and Owner of The Illustrated Chef LLC, begins. “But then it evolved into wanting to create something truly all-purpose – something that cooks and tastes, as well as paints the plate.”

Unlike any other culinary tool on the market, each Chef Spoon is a handcrafted work of art. In addition to the design pieces, we use epoxy resin heat-resistant to 400°F and 18/8 stainless steel, both chosen for their extended durability. These attributes make Chef Spoons the first functional utensils with personality that can survive a working kitchen.

Chef Adam’s patent-pending design makes Chef Spoons superior to other spoons on the market. The bowl holds 24 mL of liquid (almost 1 oz/almost 5 tsp). Its tip tapers to a near-point, enabling one to get to those hard-to-reach corners of the pot, as well as allowing for a more controlled plating experience. Thanks to the bowl’s specially designed edges, only a silicone spatula can scrape more efficiently. A series of ridges along the handle facilitate a firm, no-slip-grip.

No culinary arsenal is complete without a Chef Spoon. Offering Custom Chef Spoons and hundreds of designs assures we have something for everyone. Wanna Spoon?
